I have trouble lighting my candle. It lights up for a few seconds and then goes down, Why does this happen?

Soy wax candles can sometimes seem a little more capricious than the candles often sold in big stores. They require a little more patience, but I promise it's worth the effort.

First, we recommend taking a long lighter and leaving the fire on the wick, even if it seems to be lit (a good 10 to 15 seconds more!). You can also try to cut the end of the wood wick. This sometimes helps the flame get a little lower and start properly. Remember that the wick is actually a small piece of wood that you are trying to lit. A bit like a campfire, you have to really work the wood and you may even have to do the little process once, two or even three times.

Then, contrary to popular belief, the soy wax helps to burn the wick. So it's actually fine if there's a little wax on the wick of your candle. It's not going to stop it from lighting, in fact it might even help it.

Finally, candles have what you could call a "memory". From the first time you light it, it is very important to let the wax melt to the sides of the container. If you blow it out and the wax solidifies without having made it to the edges, there is a much greater chance that the candle will memorize that circumference and then burn down hollowing out!

If you're more visual, we also talk about it on our blog.

My Candle is almost finished, but it won't light. Why is that?

Our wooden wicks actually stand on a base at the bottom of the pot. It is therefore completely normal that there is a small amount of wax left at the very end. This is considered when pouring the amount/calculating the number of hours in action.

We recommend to burn the candle as long as possible when you see that the wax is almost finished so that you don't have to blow it out and require it to re-solidify. If the candle is not kept on the lookout and is extinguished when the wick is almost gone, there is very little room to relight it again.

If you still see some wick on the metal base at the bottom of your candle, you can try to light it again for a last time.

Our little trick: Using a long lighter (we always recommend this type of lighter for lighting our candles, by the way), start by slowly melting the wax around the wick.

With a little patience, you may be able to light your candle for one last relaxing moment with it. You will then be able to start a new candle from your favorite collection or even discover a brand new one!

Are your products NATURAL?

Our products are always at least 95% natural, and transparency is important to us. Our products are as natural as possible while still being able to guarantee a minimum of stability.

For us, it is a priority that the customer keeps his product for at least one year without the smell, the colour, the texture or the quality being affected. The ingredients chosen are high quality and never harmful to our health. We have decided to add preservatives in the majority of our formulations to ensure stability and protect our products used on the skin from bacteria.

Raw ingredients are a daily challenge and we keep ourselves up to date with the more natural alternatives available on the market.

I'm pregnant and have heard several opinions about using LAVENDER during pregnancy. I'm little confused. What do you thing?

Generally, there is no particular danger in using lavender while pregnant.

However, there are so many schools of thought on the subject that since our products are not strictly speaking for infants, we ask our precious customers to refer to a health care professional. Your doctor will be able to make recommendations based on your pregnancy and your specific needs.

Essential Oils VS. Fragrance Oils. What is the difference?

Essential oils are oils extracted from plants that, in addition to smelling good, have therapeutic or medicinal properties.

Scented oils, on the other hand, are a gentle blend of synthetic fragrances. They do not have healing properties, but rather are used to create ambiance in the home & to perfume rooms!

In any case, these two types of oils can be used on dryer balls and in electric diffusers with only a few drops. Both are highly concentrated. Now it's up to you to discover your favorite oil!
